Political Parties in Utter pradesh List

1. Bhartiya Janta Party

Bhartiya Janta Party

Bhartiya Janta Party origin from Bhartiya jansangh led by Shayam Prasad Mukherjee in 1951. After the state Emmergency in 1977 Jansangh merged with several parties and form Janta Party it defeated the incubment Congress party in 1977 general election. After three years in power Janta Party disolve then Jan Sangh form BJP. Winning only 2 seat in general election in 1984. In 2017 assembly election in Utter Pradesh BJP get full majority and defeat samajwadi party and Baspa. Yogi Aditya Nath become Chief Minister of Utter Pradesh.

Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party is founded by Ompraksh Rajbhar in 2002. Om prakash rajbhar is ex minister of backward classes welfare, disabled people development in Utter Pradesh. Party has its main office in Fathepur village Varanasi. Its basically focus on Rajbhar communities in easten U.P Purvanchal

Peace Party was founded by Mohamed Ayub in February 2008. He is serving aj surgeon philanthropist. It becomes the six largest political party of India most populous state Utter Pradesh. State legistative assembly 2012 he won the three seats. Party organised Muslimand other backword he gained 70% of muslim votes. Party has been assigned symbol glass of water.

Student wing of congress is NSUI

Apna Dal was founded by Sonelal Patel in 2009. After the death of Sonelal Patel party was led by Anupriya Patel(2017 to till date. She was elected member of Legistative Assembly Utter Pradesh from Rohiniya constituency Varanasi. In 2014 general election Patel part alliance with Bhartiya Janta Party , she won from Mirjapur Loksabha. She is minster of health 4 july 2016-24 May 2019.

Rashtriya Lokdal is founded fu Choudhary Ajit Singh, he is son of farmer prime minister Choudhary Charan Singh. Rashtriya Lokdal basically focus on western u.p. in 2019 Lok Sabha election tie up with grand alliance Sappa and Baspa. As per seat sharing arrangement, RLD got three seat Mathura,Baghpat,Muzaffnagar but lost all of these. Party has one MLA in Rajasthan Legistetive Assembly Dr. Subhas Garg, who is also serving a MoS in Ashok Gehlot Led Government.

Bahujan Samaj Party was founded by Kanshi Ram 14th April 1984. Basically this party focus on schedule cast,schedule tribe,other backword. They focus on Sarvajan Hitay Sarvjan Sukhay. Now BSP president is Mayawati she is become a cm many times. First time she become cm-1995,second time-1997, third tem-2002-03,fourt term-2007-12

Samajawadi Party was founded by Mulayam singh Yadav in 4th October 1992, just developed 2-3 months before demilition of Babri Masjid. It was one of the party that Janta Dal fragmented into several regional parties. Now samjwadi part president is Akhilesh yadav. It takes part in Loksabha and state assembly. In 2012 vidhansabha election clear mandate for his party. Akhilesh yadav become chief minister and complete five years of his government.
